Here at Rho Chapter, we are a group of electrical engineering students who are excited about the possibilties of our major and are willing to share this with anyone who might ask. We host several service and social events throughout the year. In particular, we run a series of seminars that focus on teaching technical skills that are not typically taught but yet very useful for the engineering student or practicing engineer. We also enjoy taking a break from time to time and typically have small social events where we can wind down from a tough day in the books. When possible, we set up tours of local companies and invite professionals to give talks.
We are active and growing: last year we we one of several chapters that won the HKN Oustanding Chapter Award. Join us in our events and you to could help make sure that we repeat this in the years to come.
Eta Kappa Nu is a nation-wide organization that is dedicated to encouraging and recognizing excellence in the electrical and computer engineering field. It was founded in 1904 at the University of Illinois by ten students as the vision of an organization recognizing academic excellence in electrical engineering. Our local Rho Chapter at the University of Colorado dates back to March 4, 1922.
Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings, but to officially join, we ask that you meet our induction requirements. If you have met these requirements, make sure to fill out and have an officer sign the requirements form.
